CDS, then known as Sons of England Dramatic Society, presented Robinson Jeffers's "Medea" at the Claremont Civic Centre in July/August 1980. The show was also performed at the Masque Theatre and at the Somerset West Playhouse in August. The show was designed and directed by John Giese and the cast was as follows:
